Trash Collection
Residential Services
Residential customers receive weekly, curbside trash and recycling collection. Trash (blue) and recycling (green) carts must be at the curb no later than 7:00 am the morning of your collection day.
All trash items should be bagged and tied. Recycle items should be lose. Cart lids needs to close completely to avoid spillage during collection.
Missed Collection & Cart Replacement
We are excited to announce that the Republic Services (utilities) application (app) has just become available to Parker residents. Residents can download it for Apple or Android phones. Look for the red and blue icon. From the app, residents can order replacement carts, report missed collections and even track the garbage truck. Be sure to know your trash collection day when logging into the app for the first time. If you prefer a less techy approach, Republic Services can be reached by phone at 972-422-2341 to report missed collections and to request replacement of broken carts. Continue to contact utility billing to request additional carts as the extra monthly fee will be added to your water bill.
Bulk Trash Service
Bulk waste and loose brush items are collected once a month. Please refer to the Bulk Trash Collection Guide linked below for your pickup day.
Bulk Trash Collection is provided for normal household items generated from your residence that are too large to fit in your trash cart. Items include furniture, tree limbs, brush, plants and leaves. Construction materials such as concrete, and rebar will not be collected as these items damage the trucks.
At this time refrigerators cannot be collected as the landfill is not accepting them with or without Freon. Paint, paint thinner and other hazardous chemicals cannot be collect by Republic Services.
Brush is to be cut into 4-foot lengths and neatly stacked in the same location as trash carts. Brush piles must not be placed beneath overhead power lines.
Bulk is limited to 10 cubic yards each month. One cubic yard is roughly the size of a stove.
Bulk and brush items may not be placed within 10 feet from the edge of the roadbed prior to Saturday of the week such items are scheduled to be removed by the city solid waste service provider.
If your bulk items are not recovered by the end of the next business day, call Republic Services at 972-422-2341 or email the Utility Billing Department at utilities@parkertexas.us .
